I want to start by saying I’ve never written a poor review in my life but this experience demands for it! This funeral home seemed only to care about how much money they could get out of the loss of our loved one. The poor quality of our prayer cards and funeral pamphlets were an absolute disgrace. Our loved one’s obituary was published weeks after their passing and wasn’t cremated in the time frame we had initially agreed upon. This arrangement was majorly overpriced and we are still awaiting to receive what was promised to our family after more than 3+weeks. Extremely disappointed in how he handled my Dad’s services. Two weeks after my dad’s death and services he published the his obituary because we insisted/requested. Nor was his obituary published in the newspaper. A lot if family didn’t attend because they could not find obituary with service information and assumed we weren’t having service till a later date. My dad was also not cremated immediately supposedly because they couldn’t get permits which was just about 2 weeks after death. We went through him for our grandfathers funeral and it only caused more stress and headache for my grandma and our family. First, he was late on posting an obituary and was never posted in the newspaper. There was very poor communication and we were the ones who had to reach out to him first for literally anything. It is coming up on almost a month since he’s been gone and he JUST got him creamated and we had to continue to call to get the urns, and we still don’t have his funeral pamphlets.
