About Elgin Pediatrics
Elgin Pediatrics is a medical facility that provides pediatric care, with Dr. Shilpa Sulochana being one of the practitioners. She is originally from India and has obtained her medical degree from Bangalore medical college before moving to the US for her pediatric training at Nassau University Medical Center, NY. Dr. Sulochana has worked in various hospitals and healthcare systems in the US before joining Elgin Pediatrics. Patients have reported positive experiences at Elgin Pediatrics, with friendly and caring staff. While some variations in nursing styles have been noted, the care provided to children has been generally praised. The office can improve in creating a more welcoming environment, but the billing department has been described as typical for medical facilities. The medical team is commended for their efficiency, with short wait times in the lobby and a streamlined process. The option to fill out forms virtually has also been appreciated by patients. Overall, Elgin Pediatrics is a suitable choice for pediatric care with a dedicated and efficient team, despite minor areas for improvement.
I don't know about this place. Went in with the concern of babies staining, vomiting milk from mouth and nose, crying when trying to poop. And the Doctor said as long as blood wasn't coming from babies bottom the formula was okay. She wouldn't want to poop blood so why would she want to wait until newborns start bleeding to change formula? She did write a referral to a specialist but this to me is a simple fix, switch the formula. I do have the visit recorded. Because I'm a believer if it doesn't sound right it isn't. Then she schedule an appointment a week later to give them babies a shot, why couldn't you do it today when they was in the office? There wasn't many patients in the office and after visiting today I can see why.
Sadly since Dr English left, it is not at all the same. Their billing is a disaster, charging for things I did not approve and finding things to bill for suddenly 9 months after a well check when the statute of limitations on billing is 11 mo. I absolutely do not recommend them.
