I do not recommend EG Enterprise or its owner, Joe Gomez. When I purchased my new home, Gomez5 Enterprise LLC had already completed some staining work on the driveway and front sidewalk. Joe Gomez, the owner, initially seemed knowledgeable and appeared willing to stand behind his work. I interacted with him several times, as he returned to address some issues related to that original job. Based on those interactions, I hired him to do epoxy coating in my garage, as well as staining for my patio, front sidewalk, and driveway. The garage epoxy job was decent, although a bit messy along the walls and edges of the driveway. However, the staining work on the exterior concrete was extremely poor. Within just two weeks, the stain began peeling. I paid $2,500 for this job, and I honestly feel like that money was wasted due to the sloppy and unprofessional results. I was patient throughout the process, even as he delayed getting materials. As a customer, I expected that a professional contractor would know the proper process, use the correct materials, and stand behind their work. Instead, Joe Gomez tried to charge me extra to fix his own mistakes. When I refused, he walked away and left the job unfinished. In the end, I was left with a peeling, unattractive finish and no resolution. This could have been avoided with honest communication and accountability. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Gomez5 Enterprise LLC, and I suggest others proceed with caution.
