About Nails Spa
Nails Spa is a very nice place that receives a high volume of clients. The business does not take appointments, operating on a walk-in only basis, which several customers found to be an inconvenience due to a current lack of staff. This system often results in significant wait times, with reports of waiting for almost an hour, 30 minutes, or even over two and a half hours. Some customers noted that the order of service could feel inconsistent despite putting their name on a list. Once serviced, the experience varies. Many technicians are described as professional, providing great customer service and doing a good job. One technician was a delight, taking great care, massaging, cleaning, and choosing the right color, demonstrating a genuine love for their work and a commitment to doing the best job possible for customers, even under pressure. The end results are frequently praised, with nails looking amazing, natural, great, and perfectly done. The application can be very quick, with one full acrylic set completed in about 25 minutes. However, some service aspects raise concerns. A few customers observed practices they considered unsanitary, such as re-pouring used acetone back into its bottle. In one instance, a customer was asked to clip off their own acrylics to save time, a request that caught them off guard. Some steps, like scrubbing nails, may be skipped. Despite these cons regarding the process and wait, the consistent quality of the final nail work leads many customers to consider returning, give the place a second chance, or come here again.
The spa is next to the hotel I stayed. Would not make an appointment but asked me to show up 2 hours after I called, which I did but still had to wait for almost an hour.Almost gave up but was assigned Selena who turned out to be such a delight to have her give me pedicure. She took great care of my feet and legs, massaged them, cleaned them, chose the right color for the design that I found online. It's so hard to see someone in this industry truly love what they do and want to do the best job they can for the customers.Tipped her generously which shocked her.Such a gentle soul. Despite the pressure from her boss, the owner, she kept working on me for 2.5 hours until...read full review
I have pros and cons about my first visit. They don't take appointments, only walk-ins which was kind of an inconvenience considering the lack of staff they currently have. With the high volume of clients walking in, I ended up waiting over 2 1/2 hours just for a full acrylic set even though I put my name on the list before at least 6 others who went ahead of me. The woman who did my nails handed me a pair of clippers and told me to clip my current acrylics off to save on time. I've never been asked that before so it kind of caught me off guard. I happily obliged and started clipping my nails which had acrylic pieces flying every where. She poured a bottle of acetone...read full review
Very nice place. I kinda had to wait about 30 min, but I didn't mind. I didn't have an appointment. Very professional, great customer service by everyone. If I come back to Eagle Pass I would definitely come do my nails here again.
