Josh & Michael are very good electricians and good men. They helped me out of a nightmare with a battery. And I will be forever grateful. They both have a servant’s heart and I will recommend their services and company to everyone who wants electrical services. This world would be a better place if there were more Josh’s and Michael’s.

Cotton Electric recently helped us resolve a power fluctuation issue. They did an electrical inspection on our older home, corrected several small issues, and replaced a breaker. The fluctuation was still present so they advised that we get Oncor involved and help get a service order going. Oncor promptly diagnosed and repaired the issue. It had the potential to cause big problems so we were grateful for Cotton's advice and Oncor's response. We've used Cotton Electric several times and always been satisfied. Highly recommend.

Called them to replace a couple of breakers for a split mini ac we installed. They arrived sooner than expected. James and Ross quickly took care of the install and were super cool guys. Definitely my go to from now on!

Excellent work and customer service!I cannot say enough positives about our experience with Cotton Electric!My mother passed away on Easter morning and five days later the meter base in the home she shared with my father burned up. My 86 year old father had just lost his wife of 63 years, and now was dealing with the loss of electricity to their home. He was overwhelmed with grief and stress!When I called Cotton Electric, Ashlee recognized the emergent need and dispatched two electricians, Donald and Mark. They assessed the issue, proposed a plan, and executed the repair in record time! The charges were more than fair and significantly less than what we expected. The electricians were knowledgeable, kind, professional, and they treated my father with the utmost respect! Their supervisor, Jody, came and assisted all the way through the city inspection process.The city inspection passed the first time and Cotton even made a few minor repairs that were NOT related to the job but identified by the inspector.I highly recommend Cotton for any project or repair! Their customer service is exceptional and their work is extraordinary! We will definitely be using them in the future!

I went with Cotton because of the good reviews so why did I give 1 star?1) The phone call was $70, this price covers nothing but making an appointment, does not contribute to ANY work or assessment.2) They came out, took 2-3 hours, couldn't find the problem, called in another guy, he took another 1+ hours to find the problem (which theynever found) so decided to run a power line down my wall USING MY CABLE (which is fine until you see total cost).3) Pulled something like 7 outlets and "required" that they have to now pigtail each one before putting them back (amounted to something like $400+)4) Damaged my wall and told me it was my responsibility to fix it5) Overall cost almost $1000 for them to come run a single line down my wall with my cable and damaged my wall in the process.6) Were at my house from 10- 2pm (I believe but possibly longer) to run a single wire down my wall but the clock kept running the while time so they could make that money.Addendum: No business I have ever delt with charged any amount to drive to my house, that's all the charge was.. 2ndly I was NEVER quoted or asked about pulling plugs nor did I agree to that. I was told because yall did it, you're company REQUIRED me to have them pigtailed, there was no option or choice given. My damaged wall is still not fixed but I can see yall don't really care. By all means post my itemized reciet so people can see what I was charged for. 3rdly the sheet rock is new because I've remodeled and NO, I was TOLD the sheet rock was my responsibility to fix. As for running the clock, if you can't find the problem then as a business you should say it's above your expertise and experience, not charge someone for not doing the job hired to do and I would find someone else to do it.
