Gilbert is an ARTIST! He takes his time and does it right. If you're looking for a "quick cut", go to super cuts...but I guarantee you won't leave THAT shop looking as fantastic as with Gilbert.

Called Gilbert for an appointment, said he couldn't get me and my son in. ☹️ Not surprised. He called me back personally and said come on in if I could get there quickly, I happen to live 5 min away made it there in 7, took both of us in! We both got haircuts. We were both out in 35!?. Gilbert was both fast, friendly, and efficient!!! I recommend him and his barbers, very highly! His personal touch, by calling me back, is commendable! Keep up the good work Gil! My 6 yr old even walked out with a lolly pop! Nice touch! ???

Haven’t been here in years since I moved out of Corpus as a teen...I’m 25 now. I got curious tonight to see if it was still open and I’m glad they’re still rolling. The best barbers came through this shop and the best memories were made here as a kid...especially when I walked in and Gilbert deemed it “Free double edge up day” one time. A staple in the city for sure. If you’re looking for a shop and you’re reading this be sure to go to Gilberts.
