My wife has been seeing Dr. G for a number of years now with EXCELLENT results. She suffered corneal damage to both eyes due to trauma. When we see him we must travel from our home in Baltimore, Maryland to Texas, but the travel is worth it because Dr. G has a patented technique for designing and manufacturing scleral lenses that are individually designed for each patient. These are the only type of lenses that have successfully corrected her vision. Since we live in Baltimore, the home of the Wilmer Institute at Johns Hopkins University (JHU), it was natural for us to first seek treatment at JHU, but they were unable to adequately fix her vision. After suffering from nerve pain caused by severe dry eyes, I was referred to several doctors for scleral lenses. It wasn’t an easy fit; I visited many great doctors who couldn't create a comfortable lens that helped me. I first went to Dr. Gemoules in early 2023, and to say that this doctor is amazing is an understatement.
