I am a high risk patient with an autoimmune disease and tested positive for Covid on Friday. I googled and searched online for Covid infusion centers, regular infusion centers, called many places including hospital ER’s, stand alone ER’s, and even Urgent Care and COULD NOT find anyone equipped or stocked to give the Covid monoclonal antibody infusion as recommended by my specialist to get asap. When I was about ready to give up I finally got a random referral to America First Urgent Care, Thank God! I called them immediately and they had me screened, online paperwork done and scheduled the next day! I had my infusion scheduled and done by Sunday afternoon! I started feeling SO much better as soon as the next morning which was less than 48 hours after my symptoms started and continue to feel better each day! Dr.Piracha and staff were amazing and very helpful. They wanted to do whatever they could to make you feel better, more comfortable, and get you what you needed. They did a wonderful job monitoring me after the infusion to make sure there were no negative reactions, which there weren’t. In addition, the Dr. sent home prescriptions for an epipen and other meds in the event there was a delayed reaction, which thankfully weren’t needed. I am so grateful to have found this place and have since saved them in my important contact list for future needs. Unfortunately, my sister and niece both potentially have contracted Covid from me and will be going to see Dr. Piracha if they end up testing positive and their symptoms worsen. We were so impressed with this facility that my sister will also start driving from Allen to Coppell to start using America First Urgent Care for their routine medical needs since they are a cash pay family and are not happy with the urgent care facilities in their area. I called to ask a couple of questions for my family members a couple of days later but couldn’t get through the phone line since it was close to closing time. Dr. Piracha returned my missed call himself to answer my questions! Also, Umar, the Clinical Coordinator, was amazingly helpful via text with my paperwork, any technical issues, questions, and even getting a cough syrup prescription called in the next day! This facility has next level medical staff for sure with wonderful patient care and bedside manor! I live in Midlothian and my other family lives in Allen but we will gladly drive to Coppell if we ever need their services in the future! We are so blessed to have found this place and you will be to!
