“I recently had a sleep study done and was prescribed a CPAP machine. Instead of the Dr office sending the a prescription to a DME on their list. I obtained the prescription and shopped around. Although I have good insurance i still had questions about the overall cost and I wanted a local vendor. Many DMEs were listed in my area but had. 800 number to some dump truck county some where.
I called American Home Patient , the had a local address and a local phone number.
I went and met the Manager Casey Bell, she was informative of the process and the equipment.
This was a selling point for me.
On the day I picked up the CPAP, Lana Scarcella
greeted me and had my file already laid out.
She was straight forward there was no upselling, and definitely no pressure. Even though insurance was covering most of the expense I still wanted to be frugal. Lana was well versed with product knowledge. This whole experience set me at ease.
