This is my second year purchasing 6 yards of garden mix the pH is testing between 6.5 and 7 which is obviously perfect. I ordered again because my garden did well and the price for getting the dirt delivered is also very good and I live in Vidor which is about 20 minutes from Evadale

I bought 1.5 yards of Bruce's Al Cook Mix today. I was extremely satisfied with the quality, quantity, and service they provided. I had been buying the three way mix from a nursery in Silsbee for years in the past, but this year their quality was bad, and they were not loading a full yard scoop for more money!!! I will be going to Bruce's from now on!!!

I've used Bruce's now for all of my garden needs. Sand, compost and top soil. My peas germinated and were above the soil 3 days earlier than the peas I planted with my local nursery recommended potting soil, compost and manure. I planted (2) 24"x16' raised beds for a pea tunnel all in the same day. I ran out of my Bruce's garden mix and had to go to my local nursery for the second box. They're very nice folks, accommodating and extremely punctual. If you say you want soil delivered at 0730...he will be there on time and ready to dump. So be ready! I love Bruce's and I will ALWAYS use them for all my soil needs as long as they have it and provide that service.
