Outstanding Training with Real Results
Kris Tait at Canine Moxy has been instrumental in strengthening my understanding of my dog and developing effective obedience strategies. Through both group and private lessons, he's helping us progress toward our goals of on and off-leash obedience and agility work.
What sets Kris apart is his keen, practical approach. He doesn't just teach commands—he creates real-world stress tests and brings in other people and dogs to address specific challenges, ensuring the training actually sticks outside the classroom.
His expertise has been invaluable in building true partnership with my dog, not just compliance.

Kris took the time to teach all of us—myself and family members—as a unit so we could apply a consistent approach. He gave clear, helpful context behind his methods and commands, and our dog responded incredibly well right from the start.
That same day, two friends visited and we were able to put the training into practice immediately. Using the new tools and commands, our dog was noticeably calmer and able to cope faster. The result? A much less stressful visit for everyone.

I am amazed!! And I am grateful that I waited the long 5 years of Snickers’ reactive life!!
Glad I had not tried any other dog trainer except Canine Moxy Kris!!
I already look forward to walking “puppy” more and more and it’s only day 1 after her first class!!
Even my 9 year old daughter has been applying what we learned at orientation for her cat! And we plan to also apply for our tortoises!!
I truly am happy to have invested what we already have in Canine Moxy!! Best money spent all year!! For sure!!
