Violin/Piano Lessons: Megan’s Studio

Megan is a wonderful piano teacher. Now in his second year of piano lessons with Megan, my young son loves Megan, attending lessons, and playing piano. He is making good progress each week.  Megan is highly skilled, accomplished, patient, organized, calm, caring, and simply great with my son. I like how she uses a variety of techniques to help him learn and keep interest (e.g. practice, games in the Andrea and Trevor Dow Books, etc), and I like that she did an optional recital for students of all levels to play for an audience. Highly Recommend.

Megan is a top notch instructor; very patient and encouraging. She helps me through my trouble spots by suggesting different, yet effective approaches. I look forward to each lesson.

I’m glad I had Megan as a teacher. Megan modified her teaching style to fit my needs. If I wasn’t getting a certain concept, she’d teach it differently. She understands people learn differently. I felt I was in a safe space with Megan. I’ve had music teachers that I found intimidating, but with Megan I felt comfortable. She encourages questions. She is a very kind person. Having her as a teacher made me more confident in myself. I was afraid to start lessons since I’m 23 years old. I felt that I was too old and it would be weird, but that wasn’t the case at all. Lessons were the highlight of my week and I believe it is because Megan is such a great teacher.
