“I started our home-building journey back in early 2022 (about a year before we would even break ground) and reached out to LaFollette as I began researching custom home builders. From the moment I connected with Tim way back then to today with our beautiful home about halfway complete - I truly believe that I am working with the very best custom home builder! Jason and his team are amazing - and have created a positive and collaborative experience providing the information and guidance needed for me to feel comfortable and confident in this home-building process. After working with Tim for a number of months refining and modifying my original idea, the plan design team then made all my house dreams come true. I appreciate all of the insights and suggestions as we worked to include all of my ideas and requirements (especially the all-important dog bath in the laundry room!). The next step involved a fantastic virtual reality walk-though where we were able to see the house (with replicas of our own furniture) to make sure that the plan met all of our wants and needs. During our VR tour, thank goodness I was able to see that the kitchen bar chairs and the dining room chairs would be way too close together - and thanks to Tim for noting that the fireplace, dining room lighting, and oven hood were NOT all centered in the same way! The VR experience truly made a huge difference and allowed for the plans to be changed before construction began, saving us a lot of money. I have enjoyed working with the LaFollette team - the collaboration, technology, and most importantly, the entire team's expertise have made my custom home building experience stress-free, positive, and enjoyable. I highly recommend working with LaFollette Custom Homes - and can't wait to move into our beautiful new home once completed.“
