About Amazing Reweaving
Amazing Reweaving is a specialized business focused on restoring damaged garments, with over 150,000 rewoven items since 1989. The business emphasizes quality, rewoven thread by thread from the original fabric of each garment. When garments are brought in, they are assessed to determine the damage, and after dry cleaning, a hand press is used on the rewoven area. The service is particularly effective on darker colors and plaids, though some limitations exist with shiny fabrics and heavily worn items. Customers often praise the owner for her talent and honesty, noting her skill in repairing sweaters, suits, and blazers, making them look almost new. She uses advanced techniques like “French Reweaving,” showing her expertise and dedication to her craft. Many clients appreciate her reasonable prices and the high quality of her work, trusting their garments are in good hands. Overall, Amazing Reweaving is highly recommended for anyone needing skilled garment restoration.
Appears to be a one woman business. She is very talented and experienced. She has fixed moth holes, worn out edges, hole in pocket, in wool jackets, course tweed weaves and very fine, expensive wool suit fabric. Several jackets for me. She may cut a patch of fabric from inside the jacket and weave it in to replace the damaged spot, or pull fibers from an unseen place and weave those fibers in to patch the damaged spot. Every repair for me is invisible. She can’t do miracles with big cuts or rips but patching small holes, she truly does an amazing job.

After her consultation she asked if I would like her to still work on them given the expectation and challenges and I agreed, especially given the price. She completely exceeded my expectations, and...read full review
