The staff here is so sweet. My beloved 13 yo Bleecker passed away on a Monday morning and I live across the street from this vet. I had been expecting it due to an earlier diagnosis of congestive heart failure but you never really expect it. I raced over there but I knew it was too late. The staff let me grieve and say goodbye in the room with Bleecker for as long as I needed and they demonstrated such sincere sympathy for me during the entire process. Each person I interacted with was so kind and understanding, they offered me water, tissues, time, and a hug. Dr. Winston is wonderful. Our golden retriever has seen him on many occasions and he has always taken great care of her. The best part is, he explains everything to us in terms we understand and provides us with useful information so that our decisions are informed. My husband is an ER doctor and says that he fully respects Dr. Winstons skill and expertise.

My dog has been been treated by Dr. Winston and Dr. Carpenter for 2.5 years. We’ve seen about 6 other vets in my dog’s life and these two doctors are hands down the best. I can tell they actually care about my dog’s health. They are gentle and kind to him. He struggled with bad skin allergies for years and instead of just prescribing him pills and allergy shots, they introduced me to immunotherapy that can be done at home. My dog has been allergy free for the last 12 months. Their prices are very fair and these doctors take plenty of time with me to explain everything and answer my questions.
