Dan, my acupuncturist, took the time to really listen to my story and approached my care from a truly holistic perspective. He explained how acupuncture could help calm and regulate my nervous system while also offering dietary recommendations and other lifestyle suggestions to support my recovery. He also helped me recognize how the stress and trauma from my health journey could be contributing to my symptoms. Dan is knowledgeable about other therapy modalities like cranial sacral therapy to treat somatic issues. I find it easy to talk to him about my experiences and research as I progress in my recovery journey, and take his advice.

The entire team is welcoming, friendly, and genuinely caring. At each visit, they check in on how I responded to the previous treatment, make adjustments as needed, and make sure the treatment is moving in the right direction. They also provide encouragement and emotional support, which has made a real difference during a very challenging time.

One of the biggest things I learned here is that acupuncture is about much more than simply placing needles. They look at the whole person, take a comprehensive approach to care, and are willing to recommend other helpful therapy modalities when appropriate.

“Jamie is so great at what she does and truly made a difference in my life. I started seeing her after dealing with an injury that led to piriformis syndrome and really bad sciatic nerve pain. I was to the point that I could barely sit for 30 min without the pain getting unbearable and wasn’t able to sleep through the night. Within my first few sessions she was able to ease the pain with acupuncture and provided a mobility plan and foam rolling exercises I could do at home to work on healing in between appointments.
