If you are looking for a company who has excellent communication, helps you think about design, ensures top quality and makes sure the customer’s expectations are met, LoneStar Design Build is who you should call. I’ve done 2 major projects with them and would use them again. From a complete bathroom remodel, to new floors, built-ins, custom closet, fireplace remodel and updating my stairs. I could not be happier with the outcome.

We are nearing the end of a significant remodel of our kitchen and transforming the master bath into a spa in our home. I first talked with Brandon on the phone several hours while he patiently drew out what I was looking for and what ideas we had. I told him I had no color sense or confidence in my ability to design a new space and he assured me he has a designer that helps every step of the way. (He does, they did.) From the beginning Brandon promised that they would give us advice, let us know if something we were planning would either detract from the home value or be spending more than it adds, but at the end of the day we are the customer and they will work towards what we want. The first phase was design with 3d drawings, and we could decide from there if we wanted to continue the project or not. I think the thing that has impressed me the most from the very beginning is the quality of the work, and the professionalism, courtesy, and ability to enjoy my snarky sense of humor sometimes, haha! Their guidance was invaluable and we pushed them into some new areas (I think ours was the first steam shower they've put in, but I bet not the last). They moved a load-bearing wall in our master bedroom 2 feet to grow the bathroom into what we envisioned, and again -- it was so clear during construction that hidden under the drywall and paint, there is expert high-quality framing, electrical, etc -- they don't cut the corners you can't see, and I can't say enough how much care they put into their work. If something didn't come out the way I liked, they jumped through whatever hoop it took to fix whatever detail it was. We bought our house in 2013 and been planning and saving for this for 10 years. Lonestar has really come through and made it a much better reality than I could have even imagined! I've never had a home built from scratch, and I've never had a contractor do more than just spiff up and replace in the past. This has been a unique experience, but I'm glad I chose Lonestar Design Build to see it through!
