I have gone to Medical Plus since 1984. I have always been treated well by staff. I have been treated responsibly and professionally by Dr. Holmes. Dr. Holmes owns the business. We have had long chats about medical topics and other issues. I have continued to see him even after moving to Houston. Too many Houston doctors want to funnel their patients for lab tests at facilities where they have part interest. I've gone to doctors that retired the next week or went to work for insurance companies to screen out claimants. Overall, I give Dr. Holmes an A+ rating.

Gteat clinic and staff. Any recommendations where to go since its closed. I need my refills asap. Any other offices or doctors that I can be referred like him in the area to keep getting my medication? Any info will help so much.

I love Dr. Holmes! Sadly his practice doesn't accept BCBS but the visits are cheap without insurance. (about 80$) Walk ins only and they get you in and out quickly. Dr. Holmes actually listens to your problems with none of the BS a lot of doctors want to push on you. Though I showed up today for an appointment and they had a sign on the door that said 'Temporarily Closed' so I hope the doctor is alright and in good health. Nurses are very kind too, they'll answer any questions about your meds you could ask.
