Last month we adopted a sweet dog from the shelter. Being seniors with an energetic dog, we knew he needed more exercise than we could give him (big dog !). That’s when we found the Yard Dog. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday we take Cowboy for a playdate for a very affordable price and he has quickly made a bunch of new friends. They have a huge play area for the big dogs, with plenty things to climb, fresh air, pool days and even piped in music. The whole facility is spotless with daily cleaning and regular deep cleans. My GSP dog, Duke, absolutely loves The Yard Dog! Since he has separation anxiety, it’s such a relief knowing the staff make him feel comfortable and cared for. I also use their grooming services, and they always do an excellent job. After a day at daycare, Duke usually sleeps for a day and a half, which shows how well they tire him out. One important note for pet parents: please be sure to fully close the main gate door each time, even if the sign suggests otherwise, for everyone’s safety. I highly recommend The Yard Dog for both daycare and grooming.

We absolutely love the yard dog! My dog Thor can be a bit anxious trying new places and being separated from us but he loves going to daycare! He loves playing with other dogs and getting love from the staff. I love getting his pictures of the day. I’m happy to find a place I can trust to leave him for daycare and boarding.
