“If you want a real estate agent who is unavailable, personifies you as a dollar sign, wastes your time, doesn’t know what they’re talking about and speaks in real estate jargon … then you absolutely DO NOT want Rick!!I approached Rick to help find a house in a crazy market about to be a single mom at about 7.5 months pregnant. Rick, like the cool tik tok influencers say, understood the assignment. He was patient, knowledgeable and above all else remembers the human and importance of such a big commitment. He doesn’t want to cha-Ching $$ you into a home, he wants to make sure you feel good about the fit.32 weeks pregnant, single and searching for houses in the heat of a Texas summer I was looking for efficiency, patience (as I consistently changed my mind) and someone who could explain processes with candor. The ability to break it down and answer questions effectively for my pregnancy brain without sounding condescending.Rick adapted quickly to my needs and we were off to hit a pre-delivery deadline! This was my experience through the process.Persistent - Rick is on the phone with the sellers vs. just email and texting. There were a handful of houses we wouldn’t have seen without his persistence in calling the seller.Due diligence - Rick will research houses you send him before going to look and pointing out anything that might not meet your criteria before going all the to the property.Knowledgeable - with 20+ years of flipping houses, and has an eye for details that other realtors might write off as the house’s “custom features”Not pushy - he was patient with me at the beginning of the process when I changed my mind several times , but adapted quickly when we were nearing the deadline. He even worked his magic to get through all the closing tasks quicker than normal so I was able to close a couple weeks before my due dateHe cares! In today’s age where time is money, efficiency means digital interface he really takes the time to make you feel like a friend and even checks in on you well after the buying process has been completed.If you’ve been on the hunt for a realtor, you need not look any further.
