I cannot say enough good things about D and C Training. I brought my two German Shepherd puppies for their two-week day training program honestly not expecting miracles… but Christina and Jacob absolutely blew me away. By the end of just one week, my boys came home like completely different dogs. The improvement in their behavior, focus, and overall manners was shocking in the best possible way. I truly did not think this level of progress was possible in such a short amount of time, especially with two high-energy GSD puppies. Christina and Jacob are clearly passionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. They don’t just train dogs — they build confidence and understanding, and it shows in the results. My puppies are happier, calmer, and so much easier to work with now, and I feel far more confident as an owner because of what they taught them (and me!). If you are even considering training for your dog, stop looking and book. I cannot recommend them enough. They exceeded every expectation I had and then some!
As any dog parent knows, leaving your fur baby with strangers can be nerve-wracking—especially with a high-energy 1-year-old Belgian like mine. But from the moment I dropped Luna off at D&C Dog Training, I knew she was in the best hands. Christina and Jacob are absolutely wonderful—you can feel their passion and care for dogs right away. Throughout Luna’s 3-week stay, I had weekly visits and worked directly with Jacob. He was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and patient, walking me through everything Luna was learning. One of the things I really appreciate is that D&C doesn’t just train your dog and send them home—they also offer in-home follow-up training/check-ins to make sure everything translates to your everyday life. They even offer vacation boarding, which is a huge bonus! Yes, some people may look at the price and hesitate—but honestly, you get exactly what you pay for: quality, professionalism, and real results. Your dog is an investment, and D&C is 100% worth it. Luna has made such an incredible transformation in just three weeks, and I couldn’t be more thankful. I will never take Luna anywhere else. The amazing reviews D&C has? What an amazing team at D&C! We inherited a 15 month old Goldendoodle (Rowdy) who needed to learn some manners and so we opted for the 2-week day training. Miranda and Jacob listened to our unique needs and we could not be more pleased with the results. Within the first week Rowdy was a million times better on the leash and responding to the new commands. I really appreciated how they got him socialized and took him out to public areas for distraction work. I also really appreciated the time they spent training us humans so we can continue working with him at home. Highly recommend D&C no matter what your needs are!
