I love this place!!! They have helped me achieve my 75 lbs weight loss, reversed aging with a relaxing chemical peel and plumped my thin lips with filler. At 44 years old I’m not interested in surgical procedures. This group of amazing ladies offer solicited advice, kindness and comfort to those of us that want non invasive options. I’m thankful my town has Definite Wellness.
On March 28th I called to make an appointment with Definite Wellness of Tullahoma. The earliest appointment they could offer me on a Friday was May 10th. I accepted this appointment and then was asked to make a $50 deposit. I didn’t see a problem since their policy is if I don’t show up to said appointment they would keep deposit. Seems fair to me and I totally understand that. This is the part I do not understand. I called on April 15th to cancel the May 10th appointment as I was able to be seen sooner by another facility. I was then told by the person on the phone my $50 was non refundable. Say what? I am giving them a 25 day notice and they refuse to give me my $50 deposit back. This gives them applicable time to fill my time slot. I told them I would not be losing my $50 and ask could I use this credit to purchase vitamins. Again I was met with a no. My $50 was non refundable. The only way they would honor my $50 deposit was if I were to come in for a scheduled visit. Today I went for a scheduled visit for IV hydration as not to lose my $50. I had to pay an additional $85 for this visit. My experience was good. The staff I encountered were very nice. I do not have an issue with the facility itself but the fact that they would blatantly keep my $50 for no service rendered with a 25 day advance cancellation is mind blowing to me. My advice to anyone considering Definite Wellness is to be mindful they want a $50 deposit when appointment is made and should you change your mind and want to cancel appointment within a timely manner they will keep your $50. This should be illegal and their policy does not state this to be the case. Today was my one and only visit to Definite Wellness as I do not agree with them keeping deposits even when cancelling appointments in plenty of time for them to refill the slot. This is not good business ethics and people need to be aware.
