We recently found out we had wind and hail damage and had to have our roof replaced. We contacted four roofers and got quotes from all four. The price was all over the place. The lowest was just over $15k, the highest was just under $25k. After looking over the lowest quote, there were numerous things missing and calculated incorrectly. We went back and forth a few times and decided that company was not competent and disqualified them. Newsom's quote was tied with another roofer for the next best quote. The quote was thorough and had a feeling of completeness and professionalism. We decided to use Newsom. Jason came out and brought samples to help us choose exactly the right color. We had thought of changing colors while we were getting it repaired and he couldn't have been better. He actually bought out SIX different colors of shingles and installed them on our roof so we could see them on our house! He gave us addresses of houses he had installed our favorites on so we could see the completed jobs. We settled on a color and told him he had the job. We asked how much we needed for a deposit and he told us we only pay when the job is complete. We scheduled the work. The crew arrived 15 minutes earlier than scheduled! They started work on time. An hour later, the old roof was off the house and work begun on the installation. Five hours later, they were cleaning up and leaving. This was a big job... over 50 squares on the house and detached garage. The roofer with the highest quote told us "it would take a few days." They did my job in 3/4 of one day and cleaned everything up perfectly. There was no debris, there were no nails, no trash. My lawn looked like it did when they arrived. The only difference was that I had a new roof! When the work was finished, I asked how much to write the check for. Jason told me he wanted to wait a couple of days to come back and inspect the roof after a couple of days of sunshine to make sure that the shingles were laying down correctly, and he would bring me the invoice at that time. He told me that he had used fewer shingles than he had calculated and that my bill would be several hundred dollars LESS than the quote. In summary... Newson Roofing was inline with the lowest competent bid I received. They went above and beyond on customer service. They did the work on time. They cleaned up 100% of their mess, leaving no evidence they had been there except the new roof. They did the work for less money that the agreed-upon price. I only gave them 5 stars because 6 stars was not an option.

Without reservation, I recommend them. The most hardworking, professional roofing crew I’ve seen. They showed up on time, went right to work, and 8 hours later there was no evidence that they had been there except a fabulous new roof on my house. You couldn’t ask for better.
