My Army buddy had two cats for years in my basement bedroom. They got rid of any scent/stain, and there was a decent amount, and the carpet looks brand new. I highly recommend Cleand N Go Carpet Cleaning. So much cheaper than replacing the carpet. I did get the pet enzyme treatment.
