This company answered my prayers! My cat, somehow, managed to get out of our home Saturday afternoon and I finally found her Sunday afternoon about 100 feet up a tree sitting where the tree forked into two. Our ladder didn’t even reach half way to where she was and I had already tried sitting food out at bottom of tree, coaching her, calling the fire department, throwing a rope up, and a few other desperate ideas I could think of in the middle of night and mid 20 temperatures. Around 4:30 in the morning, I was totally outta ideas; so, I told her how much I loved her and that I’d be back out in a few hours when sun came up. I felt so helpless— she was looking for me to help her; but, I couldn’t think of anything but Google it, which kinda made things worse for me because AI told me she would get hypothermia and possibly die if left in a tree all night in such cold temperatures. So, now, the only thing I could manage to do is cry and pray to God for help. Then, I remembered a news paper article I had read years ago titled “Tree Cowboys” and I was back at Google and finally found the article and the name of the company. I couldn’t wait til morning so I could call them and see if they could help me. When I called and talked to Matt and explained my situation, he was very sweet and understanding and promised he’d call me as soon as they were done with the job they were in the middle of. A few hours later, as promised, he called and said he and his wife were on their way. I can’t convey enough how kind they both were. She and I talked as Matt prepared to scale this huge tree. Once set up, it didn’t take him 10 mins or less until he was handing me my baby and that’s with him spending a few mins petting Meow Meow and calming her down so he could pick her up. There aren’t many people in the world, anymore, that will come out of their way and spend their time to help a stranger and not want something in return. I’m just so thankful that Matt and his wife were the answer to my prayer. They proved to me that there is still good in this world. Although I only spent a small amount of time with them, I could tell, with 100% surety, that they are honest, hard working, and a very kind hearted couple who love animals and want to help their community and understand without judgement that not everybody can pay. I know this is the company I will call if I ever need tree service. I truly think this company would be the one I’d trust over all the rest not to take advantage of their customers like so many businesses do. I apologize for the lengthy review; but, there aren’t enough words to express my sincere appreciation of saving my baby and getting to meet an extraordinary great couple. I was pointed to these guys by my neighbor, and was informed Matt has done over 100 different cat rescues in Knoxville. That’s what I was in need of. I thank God there’s men like this that’ll help other than the fire department. The fire department acted as if it were too difficult. Thank You Guys more than Anythjng!!! You guys returned us a crucial member of our family ANDDDDDD returned her safely. Thank you and your crew for showing up and showing out to rescue our kittty. 🐈⬛
