“I have Ron cut my hair. Great place. Took me over a year to find a good old fashioned mens barber shop. Most places are "stylists". This is a barber shop. Stuff on the walls, newspapers, magazines, chatter, and just good camaraderie along with a regular mens haircut.“

“I used to go Suburban in the '70's but my job took me away from here. I retired and in 2017 I moved back to West Knoxville close to Suburban. I went to get a haircut and "lo and behold" it was exactly as I remembered except a couple of hundred yards around the corner in the same shopping center. Paul and Hoyt were still cutting hair. They give great haircuts for a reasonable price ($18). The place is family oriented, no TV, loud music, or foul language, just pleasant conversation. Hoyt just retired recently. One of the original barber's daughter, Cindi, is a barber there. Anyway, I wouldn't go anywhere else.“

“Been going to Ootey for nearly 2 years now. I never had a good haircut in 33 years of my life till I Ootey cut my hair. Now my wife wont let me go anywhere else. Ootey makes sure I look my best when I go on my sales trips. I have never had people compliment me on my hair until Ootey cut it. I have friends fly up from Florida and while here take the opportunity to have Ootey fix their mops, they still have toxic personality's and are ass holes, but atleast they have a clean looking haircut. 10/10 Ootey not only fixed my hair but taught me how to use various products to make it look like those styles you see in the magazines.
