Ordered a cake over the phone for a special event on a weekday and specifically asked to pick it up in the morning. When I arrived that morning at 9:30 the cake had not even been baked and they had the time for 12 noon. Luckily my party had been moved to 3pm so I had some extra time, but this could have been disastrous. I was also a little dismayed to see that they had about 30 boxes of pillsbury cake mix on the table - if I wanted pillsbury I would have made it myself. Regardless, I came back at 12 and the cake was ready - it looked beautiful, and they even threw in some cake pops for the error. Throughout our wedding planning process, my wife and I struggled to find a baker that could produce a cake that was beautiful AND actually tasted great. Frosted Affair was the perfect fit - our five tier wedding cake with lace trim was absolutely delicious and stunning. In fact, we had several guests tell us we had the best wedding cake they ever had! And, my grooms cake totally rocked - an oversized UT/UVA football helmet. Payed for a princess party there. They told me they would handle all the details, I could just show up. Huge room with gray tile floor no window coverings and white bare walls. Only decor was 4 purple and 2 pink pompoms on one table and a small birthday banner. Was told they were building a princess set. It was not ready in time for my party. Rental of trays for food were mismatched and no attempt to be coordinated with the theme. I wish they had contacted me when they realized the set would not be ready and suggested more decor items.
