I cannot say enough good words about her! My son is autistic & nonverbal and usually absolutely hates haircuts but he did amazing with her!! She has the patience of a saint and I know it sounds dramatic but it’s life changing to have someone who just gets your kid and helps cater to his needs. Thank you so much for what you do!!
I was so nervous for my son’s first hair cut. He’s 17 months old and not a fan of sitting still. Mandy made this experience absolutely WONDERFUL. She is the sweetest, most patient soul! She followed our boy around as he played and really took the time to make sure she met our expectations with his hair cut. She didn’t just meet those expectations, she exceeded them by far! I love that the child is in control, and there are ZERO expectations of them sitting still. She happily followed him around and trimmed his hair while he played! The only person that was even close to shedding tears was this mama! He thought we were there just to play! As part of the first haircut package, we also received a certificate with a lock of his hair, and before and after pictures! We can’t wait to go back for the next trim! Thank you Mandy! 💕
I’m blown away at how great Kayla did on my toddler’s hair. We recently had it cut elsewhere and it didn’t look great, to say the least. I’m so glad I found KK’s Castle when looking for another stylist to fix his hair. The salon and environment are tailored to children and are amazing. My son was so happy and excited to be there. He sat in the firetruck chair while watching blippi on tv, playing with a toy and watching all the bubbles being blown. He was so distracted with all this that he didn’t seem to notice she was cutting his hair. Eventually, he did want to get up and move around, and Kayla so kindly let him go play at the train table and continued cutting his hair. She’s amazing and squirmy kids don’t affect her at all. She did an absolutely amazing job on my son’s hair. We will not go anywhere else for haircuts in the future. I highly recommend this salon!
