I was having lower back spasms making it difficult to move very far without shooting pain. After ONE treatment they were gone. After 3 months the spasms have not returned, and I continue to work with Dr Scheumann (Shy-man) to correct other misalignments. His goal: adjustments once or twice a year NOT 2-3 times per week for years. I was looking specifically for upper cervical chiropractic care (head and neck alignment to the spine). I am so grateful for the results I have experienced after my visits with Dr. Scheumann. I suffered from painful, tight muscles throughout my back. I tried massage and muscle relaxers with no results. Within 24 hours of my first visit, the muscle tension in my back was gone. This appointment was in late May and the tension has not returned. I also often have felt tight across my chest and as though I could not get a deep breath. My doctor gave me an inhaler for asthma. My inhaler use varied as sometimes it was worse than others. Since my visits with Dr. Scheumann, the tightness in my chest is also gone and I have not needed to use my inhaler. Another result is that I sleep more comfortably at night.
