I've been going to the natural spot since I moved here in February 2020. Essence has always made me walking away from her chair looking and feeling better than I did when I walked in! She's done crochet braids for me so winds up braiding natural hair wig styling coloring wet sets washing goes flat iron... She's done it all for me! It's really hard finding a black stylist outside of the city, so I highly recommend her services. I just saw Essence today for a wash and go, and I would post a picture but my hair is wet... I decided to do a wet set and let it dry overnight so I can on braid it and see my beautiful curls in the morning! Thank you again Essence... read full review

Fan is fantastic! She is such a joy to be around. I love the comfortable atmosphere of her beauty shop. She takes really good care of my natural hair. I am always pleased when I walk out of her shop. I am very hesitant to try new things when it comes to my hair. She has always been very patient with me. She gives me suggestions and advice on different looks and styles, but she waits patiently for me to be ready to try something new. She is so awesome!

My experience has not been pleasant. It's one thing to have a trade. It's an altogether different experience for the trade to be presented with professional business acumen consistently. This has not been the case. As a business owner seeking to increase revenue long term, how you communicate, the timeliness of your communications and the pleasantness [or not] of your attitude communications -- translates to 15 other people one customer talked to. Justifying slothfulness doesn't win referrals. Whenever there are two or more people, eventually something will need to be clarified, especially in growing a business.
