Appalachian Animal Hospital

Appalachian Animal Hospital provides exceptional care for pets. With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Larry Mangum is a trusted veterinarian, especially for exotic animals. He is available at all hours, including late nights and weekends, and prioritizes emergency cases. Despite being busy at times, the hospital ensures timely appointments. The staff is friendly and accommodating. One reviewer shared how their 9-year-old chihuahua experienced a sudden onset of seizures, and Dr. Mangum's treatment helped alleviate the condition. Another reviewer, a French Bulldog breeder, praised Dr. Mangum's expertise in c-sections and his ability to provide top-notch care for their dogs. A pet parent mentioned how Dr. Mangum saved their cat's life during a medical emergency and provided care at a fair price. They appreciated that the hospital took walk-ins and stayed late to handle emergencies. While the office may not be the most up to date and has a slight animal smell, it is noted to be clean and the care provided is outstanding. Overall, Appalachian Animal Hospital is a reputable and caring veterinary clinic.
