My longtime stylist closed during covid, so I took a friend’s recommendation for a local salon to have my hair colored on a Saturday afternoon. I’m not sure if the universe just needed a laugh or if I’m making bad life choices, but things went bad, very bad. My hair color ended up somewhere between Donald Trump and Carrot Top. I’m pretty sure the shade of orange that sat on my head was considered a war crime by the Geneva Convention. It was a shade not seen in nature, but probably seen glowing in a nuclear power plant. I was truly afraid small children would see my hair and cry. Or worse, adults would think I was gearing up for some St. patrick’s day contest....read full review
