About Nail Star
Nail Star is a well-established nail salon located in the heart of Bartlett, having been in business since before the Clinton administration. The salon boasts a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with both men and women feeling comfortable to visit and receive high-quality services. Customers have praised the salon's skilled technicians, who consistently deliver excellent results. One reviewer's sister had a particularly positive experience, noting that the technicians did an "amazing" job on her fill and polish, and that the service was better and more affordable than at the previous salon they had visited. However, not all experiences at Nail Star have been equally positive. One customer expressed disappointment with the salon, citing issues such as unexpected costs, poor application of acrylic tips, and nails that did not last as long as expected. The customer felt that the technicians rushed through the service, as they were working close to closing time. Despite these concerns, the salon has maintained a loyal customer base, with one reviewer continuing to visit Nail Star for their fourth time. This customer has been impressed with the salon's customer service, friendliness, and the overall quality of the work, which has helped their nails look "so amazing" for the first time in a long time. The owner's warm, old-school approach has also contributed to the salon's welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Nail Star appears to be a well-established and respected nail salon, offering a mix of positive and less-than-satisfactory experiences. Customers can expect a friendly and comfortable environment, as well as generally high-quality nail services, though the consistency of the work may vary.
The bad outweighed the good for me at Nail Star sadly. The BAD:Sign said $27 for acrylic tips + $5 for French tips so that = $32, right?I asked for a manicure but all she did was trim my cuticles and started applying tips. I guess that "manicure" cost about $20 because the total came out over $100 for my daughter and I. My daughter got the same thing but was charged more because her natural nails were short. Not sure why that warrants an extra cost. I should also mention that our tips were short, and just French tips, so no extra cost for more polish, etc.The tips applied were too small for my nails and they did not bother trying to even file the sides to make it blend...read full review
I had to find a new nail salon because my regular one had started to disappoint me with their work. I walked in on a busy Saturday morning and they immediately found me a spot on their schedule. Once it was my turn I sat down and told the ladies just what I wanted. It turned out perfectly! I have continued going since then. I just went today for my 4th time. Ann gave me some suggestions to help my nails last longer and look nicer longer. This is the first time in a long time my nails have naturally looked so amazing. The customer service, friendliness, and chill atmosphere will keep me coming back. (Along with the great work) This salon has been in business in the heart...read full review
My daughter and I dropped in on a Monday afternoon, and we had a wonderful experience. Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. The prices were very fair. And, we both loved the experience - both of us got dip on our nails. We will be back!Services: Dip powder
