Long story short, I've had intermittent lower back pain for years. When it acts up, it usually sticks around for a month and feels a lot like sciatica. A couple years ago, before moving to Lebanon, I saw a PT specialist and treatment only made things worse. I swore to never have PT treatment again. Jumping ahead to today, a couple weeks ago my back acted up again, pain much worse than anytime in the past, so I reluctantly made an appointment at CC&SM (after a freiend recommended). The philosophy and practice of this clinic is very productive in recovering from pain and injury. They assess the root cause, do the adjustments they can safely do, and set you up with at-home exercises to continue the improvements and speed your recovery. It's the best approach to musculoskeletal repair and recovery I've seen. They're worth the drive from Murfreesboro for my family.
