If there was a way to give negative stars, I would. He doesn’t even deserve one star!!! He is a liar, con man, thief and pretty much whatever negative attributes you can come up with. Stole deposit money and barely began the job. Sounds like we were lucky compared to some others. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Do not trust this company at all, has multiple complaints, not professional at all, in courts right now to get money back, lies about company and profession to get your money, gives excuses more than works, can not commit to a project, is not honest about what he can or can not do, do not give him 40% of job, you will never see your money again, walks off the job without notice, nice at first to reel you in, rude and unkind after, blames you for all mistakes, when he knows he can not get any more money out of you, when you are not available, takes all tools and never comes back.Services: General repairs & maintenance

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We placed an inquiry, on Angi’s List, for someone to provide a bid to build our house. It is a simple one story 1800SF ranch house. We were contacted by Carl Powell, who came to view our site, and he provided us with a bid. We paid Carl Powell $98,000 for a down payment, to build our house, as he required 40% down. He was on site for one month, only completed the sill plate (the base for a floor cap) over an existing foundation, and then abandoned the site. He has failed to respond to calls and letters, in an attempt to collect a refund, and was a no show in court.
