Sowder Electric furnished and installed a whole house generator that uses natural gas as its fuel source. Prior to quoting the project, the installer came to my home and gathered information used to size the generator. We also settled on the exact location of where the generator was to be installed. He told me to contact the gas company and ask if a bigger gas meter would be required.
