I’m surprised by the low reviews. I’m impressed by this place, they’ve given me full health care over the phone, I personally appreciate I’ve never been required to come into the office. Therapy sessions, med appointments, case management, all over the phone. Prescriptions sent to the pharmacy and refilled via text. It’s been a breeze. Everyone is friendly and makes me feel as though they genuinely care about my well being. I absolutely recommend this place again and again.

This review is for Volunteer Behavioral Health in Hendersonville. I was promised a call back for therapy, but was left to suffer by the staff for days with no response. I even called in to remind them about my situation and needing help, and was again promised a call back that I never received. I had to resort to finding a new provider and paying out of pocket immediately to receive the psychiatric care I needed.

Quite possibly the worst place to go for your mental health. If you didn't have anxiety before, you will after having to worry if they will call or not, if you will get your med refilled or not. The office staff is extremely rude, except for one and she truly is the kindest if you are lucky enough for her to answer your call. The main provider I see is wonderful, but the staff are not considerate or professional overall. And some talk down to you. It's sad. It used to be a great place and over the last decade it's been awful. They need training for the office staff and a pay raise. They probably aren't paid enough and get the bottom barrel to work for them.
