Absolutely impressed with how great they are. We have done shots, checkups, and boarding and every time our dog was treated amazingly. She is not very friendly and has separation anxiety and they went out of their way to try and make her feel at home and was very patient. I’ll never go to another vet.
I fell in love with Dr. Shelton, during my first visit. I'm normally leary of new vets because I have often seen cats treated with cold indifference. However, when the techs informed the doctor that my kitty didn't like to be picked up, Dr. Shelton didn't try to pick her up to put her on the counter. Instead, she simply sat on the floor with her to examine her. I have never had a vet treat my kitties with such compassion and understanding for their different quirks and traits. I will continue to take my fur-babies (and all future) to Dr. Shelton and Unicoi Animal Hospital. Thank you!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! Our dog is a sevice dog to a disabled veteran, and they are so unbelievably wonderful at spoiling her with hugs and kisses, giving her a break from her always vigilant job. The time she gets with them is always a special treat for them. We do have to keep a few backup vets because I have to be able to get her in somewhere at the drop of a hat, but they are ALWAYS my number 1 go to. If you're looking for a small over the top wonderful vet, this is the place to go. If you don't like small, please consider a large vet office before leaving a bad review on your ability to get a quickie appointment.
