It’s been almost a full year since the birth of my son, and I’m realizing I never wrote a review here! We hired Cyndi when I was very early in my pregnancy. Like less than 6 weeks. I had wanted a natural birth and knew a doula was going to come in handy. Cyndi had a stellar rep and I was so excited to snag her. From our very first meeting, I knew she was a great fit. My husband and I both felt very seen by her and knew her presence would be a welcomed addition during labor. I’m a relatively low maintenance gal, so I didn’t utilize Cyndi to her full capacity throughout my pregnancy, but whenever I did reach out, she was always available to answer any questions I had. She has a vast library of books and offers tons of solid advice for researching what you’re looking for. The real highlight for us was our pre birth meetings. I would pay cyndis whole fee 10 times over just to soak up her knowledge that we gained during those meetings. I mean, wow. She taught us SO much and in such an easy way to follow. We’ve had so much fun teaching our friends and family all of our birth tidbits. My son was breech, and Cyndi offered lots of resources to help me get him flipped. She checked in regularly after my appointments to see if he’d flipped and if he hadn’t (plot twist, he never did) she’d encourage me and continue offering support. I went into labor 4 week early, with a breech baby, as a first time mom. I called Cyndi bright and early, outside of the on call window, and she promptly called me back and was just as excited as we were to jump into action. She talked me through what would likely happen once we arrived at the hospital and made a plan with us. We met at the hospital and she was with us every step of the way. The plan was always a natural birth but birth rarely goes exactly as planned, and we ended up having to have a cesarean due to baby being frank breech and preterm. Cyndi was still there to support up until the OR, where she wasn’t allowed back, but had she been, I know she would’ve been. Cyndi was waiting for us when we were out of surgery, ready to support us yet again. As a first time mom you often don’t know what to do once you’ve got your baby, and Cyndi quickly got me set up for skin to skin and encouraged me to latch baby like I’d talked about wanting. She also arranged for a lactation consultant to contact me and kept touching base while we were in the hospital. We also utilized her placenta encapsulating service and were very pleased with the results. All in all, Cyndi was wonderful and even though I didn’t get to have the traditional experience, I can still confidently say I’m so glad we hired her, and we absolutely will again. ❤️

Cyndi from The Guided Heart Doula is an absolute gem, and I am beyond grateful for her presence during my birthing journey. From the moment we met, I knew she was someone special, and her kindness and warmth enveloped me like a comforting embrace. Throughout the entire birthing process, Cyndi's support was invaluable. She was a calming presence during labor and delivery, providing unwavering support and guidance that helped me navigate each moment with confidence and strength. Her knowledge and expertise were evident, but it was her genuine care and compassion that truly set her apart. Leading up to the birth, Cyndi's educational meetings were incredibly informative and reassuring. She took the time to address any concerns I had and provided me with the tools and knowledge I needed to feel empowered and prepared for the experience ahead. Despite unforeseen circumstances, including my photographer's absence due to a family emergency, Cyndi stepped in and captured some truly precious moments that I will cherish forever. Her photos not only captured the beauty of my birthing experience but also the love and support that surrounded me throughout. In the hospital, Cyndi went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being. From keeping me fed to creating a serene atmosphere with calming scents, she thoughtfully attended to every detail, allowing me to focus solely on the miracle unfolding before me. We even had some great laughs when I had an oops with one of the scented cloths. 🤣 I am eternally grateful for Cyndi's presence during one of the most profound moments of my life. Her heart and focus were solely on me and my experience, and for that, I am forever thankful. Thank you, Cyndi, for your unwavering support, love, and dedication. You are truly an angel, and I am blessed to have had you by my side during my birthing journey.

Cyndi was so easy to work with for placenta encapsulation. She came to the hospital to pick up my placenta and brought the capsules to our house within 2 days. Literally all we had to do (besides pay) was bring a foam cooler to the hospital. It was a very easy process!
