Well, I finally my new stylist since moving to Chattanooga. I saw Lauren for a cut, shampoo and style. The salon is awesome and the service was exceptional. Not only was the haircut one of the better ones I’ve had in years, Lauren also had good advice for my “aging” hair (my words, not hers!). I will surely be back - already made my next appointment and will recommend them to anyone that needs a top notch salon/stylist in Chat Town
I worked for The Strand for two years. It’s still one of my favorite jobs to this day. As someone who was hired as a receptionist, I was never treated as “just a receptionist.” While I worked on my customer service skills I was also taught color theory. While I folded towels, I was taught formulas. If you ever have half an idea you might want to be a hair stylist and master, this is the job for you! They will help educate you in day to day skills and chemistry.
The Strand has been my first salon and will be my only salon! Debbie is so incredibly talented, and she really gives me my dream hair, while we laugh, talk, and she really helps me enjoy my little “spa day” at the salon! Everyone there is so accommodating, professional, and I cannot recommend The Strand enough.
