Mia Nistico Hair is a stylist who just “gets it.” She is a magician and a hair genius, taking time from the wash all the way to the cut and style. Mia listens, gives education on how to continue making hair look as good as when leaving the salon, and reveals what clients did not imagine for themselves. She knows exactly what is realistic to keep up with and cuts hair around everyday life, so the grow-out does not look bad. Mia restored faith in the art of authenticity and care in hair styling. Clients leave the chair feeling like a brand new person. She is a joy to be with, and once someone goes to Mia, they never go back. For those in Chattanooga wanting a practical stylist who will listen, Mia is perfect.
Five stars does a disservice to this magician of a woman! She deserves a million and more, seriously, if you have been searching and searching for the right hair stylist, you’ve found the one full stop. Don’t trust anyone else with your scalp!
After years of searching, hoping someone would sit down with me and spend time listening to exactly what I wanted while giving me the education on how to continue making my hair look as good as when I left the salon, I found that in Mia. This is a stylist who takes her time, starting with the wash all the way to the cut and style. You will absolutely leave that chair feeling like a brand new person in the best way.

Thank God, Mia is back in Chattanooga! I missed her desperately while she was away and now that she is back she is able to guide me and reveal to me, what I did not even imagine for myself. She is a hair genius!
Mia has been cutting my hair for years, and at this point I mostly just ask her what she thinks we should do to my hair that day.
I’m extremely low-maintenance. I don’t do makeup. I don’t style my hair every day. I don’t want a routine that takes more than five minutes. Mia knows exactly what I can realistically keep up with and what I absolutely will not do and she cuts my hair around my everyday life….so when I am too lazy to come in for an appointment at least my grow-out doesn’t look bad. If you live in Chattanooga and want a practical hair stylist that will listen to you, Mia is perfect!
