On a Friday night I called at least ten different “24hr service” locksmiths in the Chattanooga area to unlock my running vehicle that was running in my garage with the doors open for 4 hours. Finally I found this company, and within 15 minutes they had someone on the way who immediately called me and shared their estimated arrival time, showed up on time, and unlocked my truck within 15 mins of arrival. Paid $130 but it was well spent for the speed of service at 9PM on a Friday.
Service was super quick and easy. All of the other locksmiths that popped up near me were unavailable for hours, but KeyMe was able to dispatch a local locksmith who got to me in less than 10 minutes. The reason behind my 3 star review is really due to an ethical issue. This is a call center that links you with a company near you. They charged me $145.00, which I was happy to pay if it meant getting home quickly. But the local company who actually did the work only gets about $28.00 of that. NOTE: I did not receive service, so I cannot comment on their technicians.THAT BEING SAID: I called them up (as the closest automotive locksmith according to Maps) to see if they could unlock my vehicle, and I was told that I was outside of their service area. Apparently 5.5 miles is pretty far away ?. So they then transferred me to a business partner, or something, for that place's robot assistant to also tell me I outside of their service area. I eventually called another local service number, which had me into my vehicle in less than an hour from the call, for a low price.I cannot say anything about their key-making or other services, but I cannot recommend calling...read full review
