We were invited by a friend to try out the beginner hip hop class on Saturday night. My daughter is 11 years old, loves to dance, but I have never allowed her to attend a dance class because of my previous personal experience with dance classes for kids focused on makeup, and dance costumes and dance moves that I don't consider appropriate for my daughter. LET ME TELL YOU THIS IS LITERALLY THE BEST THING I EVER SIGNED MY DAUGHTER UP FOR! It was the MOST positive, encouraging, accepting, appropriate, FUN experience I have ever seen for children and adults. I literally cried in the lobby watching my daughter dance with this group. Area 54 is completely life changing and the environment is full of positivity and support. I feel so loved and accepted every time I come to class. This studio has also allowed me to regain my passion for hip hop and work on strengthening my on-camera training! I had never danced in front of a videographer before, but Area 54 has helped me to build up confidence with it!
At my studio, you reach a point where you are required to take certain classes and hip hop is not part of the schedule. We also don’t have any places like Area 54 where I live! Hello , I 'm from Germany, I'm 12 years old and I take the online classes . I'm already a intermediate dancer and I take dance classes in munich too , but omg !!! I learned so much , jordan makes so cool choreographys ( The others too). Please keep it up and maybe do something on old school hip hop songs. This World be amazing! Thank you
