“I love getting my hair cut at Hair Tenders. Susan is there owner and the only stylist there, so you must have an appointment however it is worth the wait. Susan can cut men, women, children's hair. She is well rounded with tight, loose, or wavy hair. She knows and understand the different ways to trim and style men's hair. Susan offers facial waxing and makes it a comfortable process. I don't trust my hair to anyone, I will always go to Hair Tenders as long as she has availability. She is a very wonderful person, easy to talk to and enables you to tell her exactly what you want instead of her cutting your hair and you not liking it, or she will know your style and keep it the same way, she will ask you how much you want taken off and won't take anymore than you need. She shampoos, conditioner, style, trim, colors, perms, e.t.c. just go and see for yourself she is amazing and at a low price. Please bring cash, although she does offer debit/ credit transactions. Her place is easy to get to and all her customers always return, no one cuts hair like SUSAN!!#SusanRocks!!“

“Karen, who's been giving haircuts to me (and my Dad when he was still alive) for years now rents the middle space in this salon and I'm always pleased with the results. She moved from Total E-Clips (next to the IGA on Decatur Pike in Athens) when Covid forced a near stop to business there. Karen is very friendly and is reasonably priced. While I can't speak for women's hairstyles, she does a wonderful job with men's haircuts. I certainly recommend her in that capacity.“

“Don Moody is hands down the BEST barber in Athens. I and my son have both been going to Moody's for a couple years now, and I will not take my business anywhere else. He's friendly, hospitable, and extremely detail oriented. First cuts, children on the spectrum, whatever it may be, don't hesitate.
The only down fall to Moody's is the potential wait, but the conversation is always top tier, and sure to keep you entertained. The fact that guys are consistently waiting 30mins to an hour should tell you all you need to know about the quality
