My 16 year old Cat Squeaky was ill and I decided to take him to Ardmore Companion Animal Hospital. I called and received a same day appointment. Upon arrival I was greeted with friendly staff and immediately we were shown to an exam room. I was allowed to fill up my paperwork there instead of out of the lobby which I thought was very nice. What a gem of a clinic. After a rough experience at another clinic, I was on the hunt for a vet who was willing to treat chickens. Dr. Helms has helped me with my chickens twice now, and he is a great doctor. He’s straightforward, but so kind and really knowledgeable about the birds. He takes the time to explain everything, and I was never made to feel like “it’s just a chicken, why the fuss?” The entire staff is professional, prices and treatment options are explained thoroughly, and I would say prices are comparable to other clinics in the area.
