About Kal Tire
Kal Tire Shop in University Park, Regina, is known for its good service and focus on customer satisfaction. They offer a variety of services, including tire repairs, wheel installations, brake services, and alignments. They work with trusted brands like Nokian Tyres, Sumitomo, Bridgestone, Firestone, and many more. Customers have experienced quick and efficient service. One person needed a tire fixed and was able to get in with a call ahead, choosing a new tire after recommendations. Another customer was very happy that they got new tires and had them installed and aligned in less than an hour after giving notice. They highly recommend the shop and plan to return. However, there have been some issues. One customer dropped off their vehicle for an alignment after installing new struts. They received a call an hour later saying there wasn’t enough time to do the alignment, and they were advised to book a bigger appointment next time. Later, the shop called back before closing to say the customer had installed the wrong struts—something the customer strongly disagrees with, as they confirmed the struts were correct by matching serial numbers with their other vehicle. The customer was charged $88 for diagnosing a concern but states that no work or alignment was actually done. They found the staff’s attitude unprofessional when questioning the charge and ended up doing the alignment themselves at home. They believe the charge was unjustified and recommend going elsewhere, mentioning that other shops have done similar work without issues.
Recently got Four all wheel tires installed. It was last minute and they accommodated right away.
Two days ago, found a giant bolt pierced right through the rear tire. It was 6:12 pm (after close) I walked up to the locked door. Gil saw me and unlocked the door and took me in. He didn’t even made it look like they were closed. Saw it was cold and helped me out. Got me booking next day and mentioned it was all covered under my warranty.
Couldn’t be happy that I chose Kal Tire for my new set of all wheels
I’ve been happy with all services for more than 15 years with multiple vehicles / tires.
My latest service was to simply replace a TPMS on 1 tire, and set all 4 tires to 35 PSI
Being charged to Relearn/ Recalibration of TPMS System is an unnecessary charge, due to the fact they can not do it without enabling within the System Settings- as per the vehicle instruction manual and driving the vehicle at a certain speed and distance.
I had to do this once I got the car back, and none of the tires were set correctly. Been using them over 20 times, here is my one bad experience.

I recently had an incredible experience at Kal Tire and felt it was worth sharing. My brakes were completely worn down — literally down to the last bit of rubber — and they handled the replacement with great care and professionalism.
But what impressed me even more was how they went above and beyond. For a long time, I had an issue with a tie rod end that other garages either misdiagnosed or never fixed properly. Kal Tire not only diagnosed it accurately, but resolved it once and for all. The difference in how my car drives now is night and day.
They also identified the source of a persistent oil leak that had been bothering me — something previous...read full review
