My regular hairdresser was on vacation so I went to Ultracuts because I REALLY needed a cut! I received a wonderful trim and thinning by a very nice lady, but unfortunately I didn't get the stylist's name! However, I remember Ultracuts as a place where walk-ins were welcome, especially in the evenings, and that's no longer the case with this particular location. They no longer accept walk-ins and they have changed their closing hour to 6pm instead of 8pm, with their last appointments booked at 5pm. They were booked up for the next couple of Saturdays, so I had to make my appointment for 5pm on a weekday, which meant leaving work early. Anyway, the four stars are for the wonderful cut and service (which I generously tipped), but the missing star is for the inconvenience of first going as a walk-in, finding out they don't do walk-ins, then booking an appointment that meant having to leave work early.

I don't have a particular hairdresser at ultracuts. It's hit and miss when it comes to the quality of the cut. Sometimes it's great, sometimes I feel like the jarhead I got on the military would have been the better and cheaper option.That being said, I keep going there. It's conveniently located.
