What a find. I was walking through Nanaimo's Old City Quarter looking for a Spa close to home. Just as I was about to walk onto Fitzwilliam I stumbled across 'the Silver Lining Spa'. I had not treated myself to a mani and pedi in ages. It was time. I was going on vacation in days and needed to freshen up. The premises were immaculate. The service superb. Staff is knowledgeable, credentialed, environmentally conscious, and educated in health care. At the last moment I brought my Husband in for a pedicure. He was a little uncomfortable be manly and all but after his session he was so pleased he said he would return. It is a good location for people that are getting older and need to care for their feet and nail care more closely. I have decided to buy gift certificates at Christmas for friends and family so they can treat themselves, as we all do not need more stuff. 5 Star Service is my vote.

Family owned business. Husband from Canada, wife from Vietnam. Such a lovely couple. Promotes health and wellness in using products from head to your toes. They use real shellac products. Not just “gel” or acrylic. Amazing massage chairs. Great conversation. My friend and I will be booking with them from now on for pedi day!! I will never go back to the other pedi places that are always super busy and do not care about you, this couple genuinely care about you. Plus wife was a nurse!!
