“We found out that our 13 year old dog had a heart murmur and our vet wasn’t willing to put her under to clean her teeth to help improve dental outcome and longevity. The attitude shared was- she’s old let her go. We were sent home empty handed and with heavy hearts. She’s a healthy and active dog no where near ready to go. Dr von Dewitz saw her and did further testing to determine her heart member was very likely a birth defect and gave us medication to help improve it, he was also willing to monitor her under slight anesthesia to clean her teeth and deal with much needed extractions.
