We found out that our 13 year old dog had a heart murmur and our vet wasn’t willing to put her under to clean her teeth to help improve dental outcome and longevity. Dr von Dewitz saw her and did further testing to determine her heart member was very likely a birth defect and gave us medication to help improve it, he was also willing to monitor her under slight anesthesia to clean her teeth and deal with much needed extractions.
